Apart from his extensive media experience, Satish has been Faculty for Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business Communications and Marketing Communications at various Kathmandu based colleges teaching graduate and under graduate business students. Earlier, he was alsoa freelance new media journalist/trainer and management consultant. He worked as Senior Reporter for the Kathmandu based English publications, The Kathmandu Post and Nation Weekly in Nepal. His journalism career spans all major forms of media including print,online, audio and visual, having worked as a content developer for Kantipur Online(now ekantipur.com) andNews Producer for Kantipur Television in Nepal, as well asradio correspondent for Panos Radio South Asia, an entity of Panos South Asia (PSA). He has also worked as Nepal Producer for a BBC-4 documentaryfeaturing the issues of former British Gurkha soldiers. Satish has also reported on business and conflict as a Freelancer and Assistant Producer for various national and international media outlets. He hasled a South Asian team of journalists producing development radio features as Deputy Editor for Panos Radio South Asia. Satish has also served as Secretariat Coordinator at Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), an umbella organization of over now 15,000 journalists across the country in between 2011-2014. Before joining UCLG ASPAC, hewas the Executive Director of Antenna Foundation Nepal (AFN), an NGO working on media development that adopts innovative media approaches. He hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
