Buddha Bajracharya, Project Coordinator of Environment and Public Health Organization (ENPHO)

Buddha Bajracharyais a certified public health professional with over seven years of experience working on water, sanitation and hygiene (including menstrual hygiene management) in various districts across Nepal. Immediately after the 2015 devastating earthquake, he was deputed as District Coordinator in Dolakha(one of the districts with the highest casualty) as one of the focal points for the WASH Working Group looking after Humanitarian WASH Assistance Project, Recovery WASH in Health Facilities, ChildCentered Disaster Risk Reduction Project at Schools. He is also in the leadership ofPaschimPaila, an informal youth network on WASH activities, and has vast field experiences coordinating and liaising with donors, partners and government officers. His area of expertise, among others, includes project and research proposal development (including budget and activities plan and implementation); data collection, data processing and data analysis and research report writing; advocacy, coordination and networking skill with government and other stakeholders; training package development, facilitation and training skills on Fecal sludge management (FSM), Cholera/AWD Preparedness, E-WASH, HWTS, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of Young People. He holds a double Master degree in Executive MBA from Pokhara University as well as in Sociology from Tribhuvan University.
